After graduating from the University of Alabama, Dr. Coffman came to Louisiana to attend medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he received his M.D. He next completed his internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans, which was then the largest hospital in the United States. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at prestigious Ochsner Foundation in New Orleans where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified and he was elected a Fellow of the following professional organizations: American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, American College of Surgeons, and American College of Cosmetic Surgeons. He was also named one of Louisiana Life Magazine's Top Doctors in 2022 as well as named Castle Connolly Top doctors in our area for 2022.
